Visiting LOBC

Here's what to know if you're considering visiting Live Oak on a Sunday morning:

Sunday school starts at 10:00 am, and all classes are in the fellowship hall / education building, The adult coed classes meet on the main floor, with the men's, ladies', youth, and children's classes meeting on the lower floor.

The worship service begins at 11:00 am, and children remain in the service until after the musical portion of the worship service, at which time children (pre-k through elementary age) are welcome to attend Children's Church in the classroom at the back of the fellowship hall on the main floor.

As for worship style, we seek to sing songs from throughout the ages that glorify God the Father in the name of Jesus through the Holy Spirit, and through the songs of worship, we seek to encourage one another. We encourage everyone to make a joyful noise to the Lord with your voice, and if you're interested in further serving in the worship ministry, please touch base with Gloria.

As for attire, please know you are welcome to come just as you are, whether that's in a suit and tie or jeans. You'll find that most members and attendees are usually dressed casually.

Here's what to know if you're considering visiting Live Oak on a Wednesday night:

Dinner is available beginning at 5:45 pm, so you don't have to rush to cook or grab dinner before service. There is no set cost, but donations to help cover the cost of the food are welcome.

Our adult prayer and Bible study gathering starts at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. Children (pre-k through elementary age) are welcome to participate in Team Kid in the fellowship hall, and youth (middle and high school age) meet downstairs with Dylan. All of the events wrap up before 8:00 pm.

Choir practice is held in the choir loft immediately following the prayer and Bible study. If you're interested in participating in the choir, come check out a practice!
